Careful engineering, from first sketch to tested hardware.
I'm Daniel Barbos, a spacecraft engineer based near London. I help space and hardware startups build and test their hardware, and help business owners and private clients with technical problems, new ideas and the practical use of AI.

About
I'm a spacecraft engineer, and I run Barbos Space Ltd alongside my work in industry. I've worked in early-stage space startups and in large, established UK defence and space companies. That has given me a feel for both the pace of a small team and the discipline of a large programme.
My work spans mechanical design, electronics, electrical systems, software and testing, so I can usually see a problem from more than one side. I take on a small number of clients and prefer to work with people over the long term, on trust.
